I’m an Aussie writer who’s blessed to live in a cute little gold mining town in the foothills of the Victorian High Country - being surrounded by spectacular scenery in amongst all that serenity provides plenty of inspiration. A former court reporter who, apart from spending time with family, loves nothing more than bringing new characters to life and taking them on all sorts of adventures around this fascinating world. A love of travelling means I usually come back with a new tale to tell, mostly set around a particular traumatic period of history and always with fictional characters to avoid getting in trouble with pedantic historians or those in the legal world!
With a passion for music, my novels contain an underlying theme based around music in some way, whether as the main focus or as a form of solace for the main characters in troubled times. And after listening to the horrible things people do to each other over several years of sitting in courtrooms for my former career, I always enjoy including a love story to make whatever other traumas are happening to my characters that little bit more bearable.
